As member of the Diatum ecosystem of apps, Jupstream adheres to Diatum’s community standards. Jupstream works individually and in coordination with Diatum to support these standards.

Diatum Community Standards

Diatum is building a worldwide community of users and creating an ecosystem of apps that is focused on privacy and digital citizenship. Digital Citizenship means treating other users with respect and taking care in the language we use. The only way to make our ecosystem a success is for everyone to take responsibility for their actions while using our services.

The foundation of our system is user authenticity. If you are not who you say you are, we cannot build a trustworthy system that people can believe in and use to connect with other real people. It will also help to alleviate fake accounts, bots and spam in the ecosystem.

These Community Standards are in addition to the obligations placed on users in our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy (our “Terms”). In the event of any conflicts, our Terms will control.

Accounts

You must:

• Use only your real name that you go by in normal life;
• give accurate personal information about yourself;
• create only one account for yourself;
• not share your password or give others access to your account.

Conduct

All users are expected to engage in reasonable, common-sense conduct when using our Services. You must agree not to engage in harmful conduct on the Diatum services (“Services”) or help anyone else to do so. Harmful conduct includes any attempt to:

• advocate bigotry or hatred against any person or group of people based on their race, religion, ethnicity, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or impairment;
• not respect that other people in the community have had different life experiences and may have a different perspective to yours;
• publish or share materials that are unlawfully pornographic, or that contain extreme acts of violence or terrorist activity, including terror propaganda;
• harass or abuse Diatum personnel or representatives or agents performing services on behalf of Diatum;
• store, publish or share material that’s fraudulent, defamatory, or misleading;
• send unsolicited communications, promotions or advertisements, or spam;
• promote or advertise products or services other than your own without appropriate authorization;
• send altered, deceptive or false source-identifying information, including “spoofing” or “phishing”;
• violate any local, state or federal laws in any way; or
• violate the privacy or infringe the rights of others.

Misuse of Services

Misuse of our Services additionally includes any attempt to:

• engage in conduct that could interfere with or disrupt other users’ use of our Services;

• interfere with, disrupt, damage, hack, reverse engineer, modify, exploit bugs, glitches, vulnerabilities or unintentional mechanics of, or introduce viruses, worms, spyware, time bombs, or other potentially damaging computer programs into our Services.
• probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system or network;
• breach or otherwise circumvent any security or authentication measures;
• access, tamper with, or use non-public areas or parts of the Services;
• interfere with or disrupt any user, host, or network, for example by sending a virus, overloading, flooding, spamming, or mail-bombing any part of the Services;
• access, search, or create accounts for the Services by any means other than our publicly supported interfaces (for example, “scraping” or creating accounts in bulk);
• circumvent storage space limits; or
• sell the Services.
